Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CGSelfWheels website and any self-drive car rental booked with us in Bhilai and across Chhattisgarh. By booking a car with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a booking or inquiry through our website, WhatsApp, or phone, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years old to rent a self-drive car with us.
  • You must hold a valid driving license that has been held for a minimum of 1 year.
  • A valid government ID proof (Aadhaar / PAN / Passport) and local address proof are required at the time of pick-up.

3. Booking & Reservation

Bookings made through our website or WhatsApp are treated as inquiries until confirmed by our team, who will verify car availability and share final pricing before your booking is confirmed.

4. Required Documents

Please carry the following original documents (with photocopies where applicable) at the time of vehicle pick-up:

  • Valid driving license
  • Government-issued photo ID proof
  • Local address proof
  • International Driving Permit (IDP), for foreign nationals

5. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of pick-up. The deposit is returned after the vehicle is inspected at drop-off, usually within 3-5 business days, minus any applicable deductions for damage, traffic violations, or unpaid dues.

6. Rental Charges & Payment

Daily rental pricing is based on the car model, rental duration, and kilometers included per day. Charges beyond the included kilometer limit are billed at the applicable per-km rate shown at the time of booking. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, and cash.

7. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are handed over with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same level. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the fuel difference will be charged.

8. Vehicle Use & Restrictions

  • The vehicle must be driven only by the person named on the booking (or an approved additional driver).
  • Subletting, racing, or using the vehicle for commercial ride-hailing is not permitted.
  • Outstation travel is allowed on most vehicles; please inform us in advance so we can plan for tolls, permits, and extra kilometers.

9. Insurance & Liability

All vehicles are covered under a standard insurance policy. The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or third-party liability not covered under the applicable insurance terms, and for any traffic violations or fines incurred during the rental period.

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Bookings can be modified or cancelled by contacting our support team ahead of the scheduled pick-up time. Refund eligibility, where applicable, depends on how far in advance the cancellation is made and will be communicated by our team at the time of booking confirmation.

11. Damage, Loss & Traffic Violations

Any damage to the vehicle, loss of accessories, or traffic violations/fines incurred during the rental period are the renter's responsibility and may be deducted from the security deposit or billed separately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
